The psychologists at Sahil, Jeet Healing Centre, organized a 03 day training workshop on the Intervention Strategies for Sexually Abused Children from 23-25 May 2007 at Sahil Head office Islamabad for Terre des Hommes Foundation (TDH) staff at Emergency Unit Pakistan.

The training module is a customized training programme according to the needs of the staff in the field and based on the latest therapeutic approaches in practice.

This training aims to build the capacity of the Terre des Hommes Foundation staff to deal effectively with the sexually abused children in particular and traumatized children in general. This will also enhance their understanding of the dynamics of child sexual abuse and also handling with special emphasis on clinical skills. The workshop is an interactive activity based intervention plan for the staff.
