                                               Rehabilitation of Juveniles at Adiala Jail Rawalpindi

In April 2007, Sport competitions were planned in the form of tournaments of different sport games for juveniles. Sports tournament comprised of both indoor and outdoor games such as carom board, luddo, draft, volley ball, badminton, football and handball.

Initially within the barrack all the teams will play with each other followed by and it will follow with inter barrack matches, semi-final and final of all the games.  

Every juvenile was given the option of opting for the game of his own interest. 7 teams of volleyball, football, and handball along with 21 teams of badminton were formed for out door games. 12 teams of carom board, 6 teams of chess, 14 teams for Drafts, along with 13 teams of Luddo were formed for indoor games.  

     Provision of Sport Kits  

A total of 100 Juveniles were provided with sports kits, for three teams, in different colors, comprising T- Shirts, Trousers, P-Caps and joggers. 

Inaugural Session  

An inaugural session of the Tournament was held on 25^th April 2007. Deputy Superintendents, Mr. Shaukat Feroz and Mr. Malik Saif-ullah inaugurated the sports competition.

Deputy Superintendents encouraged the juveniles to participate in the games with interest, as it is a very healthy physical activity for them.
