In
reshaping the people’s opinion media plays an important role, and
Sahil as an advocacy and awareness organization is striving to
utilize the various forms of media to expose the situation of child
sexual abuse shrouded in darkness and silence due to the cultural
taboos of the society.
Sahil
monitors the
print media
and collects
reported incidents
of CSA from
69 local and
national newspapers.
At
present Sahil
is using various
forms of print
and electronic
media for raising
responsiveness
on the issue
in three broad
areas of prevention,
protection and
intervention
of Child Sexual
Abuse.
