Role of Sahil Volunteers

  1. Volunteers can create awareness about the role of Sahil amongst the people in their areas.

  2. Volunteers should coordinate with other people who are working for the protection of children.

  3. Volunteers should inform Sahil Head Office about CSA cases that are taking place in their areas.

  4. Volunteers can participate in Training Programmes that are conducted in their areas by Sahil.

  5. Volunteers can distribute Sahil’s CSA awareness literature in their areas.

  6. Volunteers should follow all cases of CSA that are reported in the papers in their areas and inform Sahil Head Office about them.

  7. Volunteers should propagate Sahil’s activities and goals amongst the people of their areas.

  8. Any person who is doing voluntary work for Sahil must inform Sahil’s Head Office.

 Ways of Working for Volunteers 

  1. Volunteers will work on their own free will.

  2. Volunteers will especially focus on the protection (betterment) of children.

  3. Volunteers will spearhead Sahil’s goals and objectives.

  4. Volunteers will cooperate with other volunteers.

  5. Volunteers should focus on improving the lot of the people in their areas.

  6. Volunteers should report their progress to the nearest Sahil Referral Unit.

  7. Volunteers shall not participate in any illegal activities.

  8. Volunteers shall work independently and will not associate Sahil with any political or religious group or party.

  9. Volunteers will always remain calm and soft spoken.

  10. Volunteers shall bear a good moral character and shall work with complete honesty and integrity.

Rules for Volunteer Membership 

  1. Sahil Head Office reserves the right to give memberships to volunteers.

  2. Volunteers will only use the Sahil membership card for Sahil’s work.

  3. The minimum age for becoming a member is 18 years.

  4. Volunteers must have a valid National Identification Card issued by NADRA.

  5. Volunteers will submit a copy of their National Identification Card along with Sahil volunteer membership application form.

  6. The period of membership shall be for 1 year.

  7. Volunteers must apply for renewal of their membership 1 month prior to the expiry of their membership.

  8. Membership shall be renewed based on the past performance of members.

  9. Volunteers cannot use the Sahil Membership Card for their personal gains.

  10. In case a volunteer violates the Sahil Volunteer Membership rules, Sahil reserves the right to cancel a volunteer’s membership.

Sahil will not be responsible for any personal action of a volunteer
